Atoms and our bodies

While discussing atoms we discovered that density is how tightly packed atoms are within matter, and weight relates to how much mass we have. Therefore, if we gain weight (and therefore mass) as we grow does that mean we add more atoms to our bodies? If so, how does that happen?
